INTERVENTIONAL PAIN
Angel Rigueras, DO is fellowship trained in interventional pain medicine and specializes in diagnosing and treating pain related to a variety of injuries and medical conditions. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Rigueras utilizes a multi-disciplined approach to diagnosing and treating various sources of pain.
Dr. Rigueras appreciates the complications and dysfunction pain can cause, so he strives to provide a holistic approach to diagnosing and treating his patients’ ailments. Dr. Rigueras employs numerous interventional pain procedures—epidurals, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, Botox injections (for muscle spasms, torticollis, and migraines) radio frequency ablations, spinal cord stimulators and disc decompressions—to provide his patients personalized treatment options. Dr. Rigueras received his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Michigan State University. He conducted his fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at Michigan State University, where he still serves on the academic staff.
