Charles W. Davis, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained, orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in the comprehensive care of spinal disorder, from the cervical spine to the sacrum, including thoracic. This includes degenerative conditions, as well as spinal deformities, spinal trauma, and instability. Known for providing compassionate and patient-centric care, Dr. Davis believes strongly in listening to his patients; correlating symptoms with objective studies and helping them formulate an individualized plan that is based on high-quality science and cutting edge technology. His practice employs the latest technologies and techniques to reduce pain rapidly, shorten recovery times, and avoid the common complications of more traditional spinal surgeries. He works closely with our interventional spine specialists to optimize diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes. In addition to traditional open spine surgery, he is trained in minimally invasive techniques, i.e., Microdiscectomy and endoscopic decompression of the lumbar spine, Facet fusions, Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion as well as motion sparing procedures such as cervical laminoplasty and disc replacement. Dr. Davis finds satisfaction in guiding patients through surgery toward their fullest potential recovery.

Dr. Davis earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry with honors. He was awarded his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
