SPINE SURGEON
Steven Puccio, DO is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon who specializes in the comprehensive care of spinal disorders. Utilizing surgical and non-surgical interventions for the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine, Dr. Puccio believes in listening to his patients medical complaints, correlating symptoms with diagnostic studies, and formulating individualized plans. He specializes in the latest minimally invasive surgeries—microdiscectomy, laser discectomy, facet avulsion, endoscopic decompression—but comfortably and confidently transitions to surgeries for more serious pathologies—disc replacement, laminectomy, discectomy, facet and spinal fusion. Spending much of his career as an orthopedic trauma surgeon, he readily treats patients with orthopedic pain and disfunction in the extremities.
Dr. Puccio earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at the Peninsula Hospital Center in New York and his fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
